This policy explains what happens to data when you read ticket.milan.it. It is deliberately short, because the site is built to collect as little as possible.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the operator of this website, contactable at info@ticket.milan.it. Write to that address for any question or request about your data, including the rights listed below.
What we do not do
There is no user account, no newsletter sign-up, no comment section and no contact form on this site. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details, and we have no way to receive them through the site. We run no advertising network, no advertising pixels, no social-media trackers and no third-party analytics of our own, and we neither sell nor share personal data.
Server logs
Like every website, ticket.milan.it is served by a hosting provider whose web server records each request: the IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the HTTP status, the referring page and the browser’s user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the site available and to deal with abuse, errors and attacks. They are retained for approximately 30 days and then deleted, and they are not used to profile visitors or build audiences. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security and stability of the service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) for security purposes, and processes them on our behalf as a processor under Article 28 GDPR.
Partner booking widgets and links
Some pages embed booking components supplied by our commercial partners — a Tiqets discovery grid or product widget, or GetYourGuide tiles. When such a component loads, your browser connects to that partner’s servers, which receive your IP address and technical request data and may set cookies or similar identifiers on their own account. The same applies when you follow an outbound link to a partner or a venue: from that moment you are on their site, under their privacy policy.
We do not control that processing and we do not receive personal data back from it. Affiliate links carry a code identifying this website as the referrer; they do not carry any information about you. If you want to avoid partner cookies entirely, block third-party cookies in your browser or use its tracking-protection setting, then buy directly at the venue’s own ticket office.
For what those partners do with data, read the Tiqets privacy policy and the GetYourGuide privacy policy on their own sites.
Photographs and embedded media
Images on this site are served from our own infrastructure and are credited on the photo credits page. We do not embed third-party video players or social-media feeds that would load trackers.
Your rights under the GDPR
If any personal data of yours is processed as described above, you have the right to request access to it, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability where applicable, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send requests to info@ticket.milan.it and we will respond within one month. Because we hold nothing that identifies you beyond short-lived server logs, most requests can be answered simply by explaining that.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it); if you live in another EU or EEA country, you may complain to your national authority instead.
Children
The site is aimed at adults planning a trip. We do not knowingly process data relating to children and there is nothing on the site that asks a visitor’s age.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the site’s technical setup changes — for example if analytics or a contact form were ever added. The date below is the version in force.
Last updated: 10 September 2026. Questions: info@ticket.milan.it, or see our contact page and terms of use.
Questions people ask
01Does ticket.milan.it use cookies?
We set no analytics or advertising cookies of our own. Embedded booking widgets from Tiqets and GetYourGuide may set their own cookies when they load, under those companies' privacy policies.
02Do you track me across the web?
No. There are no advertising pixels, no social trackers and no data brokers on this site. Affiliate links carry a partner code that identifies this website, not you.
03Can I ask what data you hold about me?
Yes. Write to info@ticket.milan.it. In practice we hold nothing that identifies you beyond short-lived server log entries, which we cannot easily connect to a person.
04Who do I complain to?
You can complain to Italy's data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or to the supervisory authority in your own EU country.
